The Program
The Kevin Cook Basketball Academy delivers a Game Plan to develop young basketball players with the combination of on court skill development with off court classroom emphasis to create confident, strong and influential player.
Experience
- Current Head Coach of Gallaudet University
- One of only 16 head coaches with a National team at the 2006 World Championships in Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Has trained some of the top WNBA and NBA performers.
- Coached a total of 12 years at NCAA Division 1 Level, ten years at University of Kansas.
- Has led international camps & clinics in Brazil, Russia, Turkey and South Africa.

The Program
* Everything in life is habit formed.... Skills are developed through repetition - Repetition is the mother of skill!
* Developing young ball players through on court skill development, while installing discipline and work ethic through solid habits.
* Putting fun back into fundamentals.
* Every house needs a foundation, every player needs a solid foundation to draw on.
* Once we build the fundamentals through habits we encourage our players to be creative.
* The Kevin Cook Basketball Academy is for All guys and gals between the ages of 7 and 17 and that have real hoop dreams.

X- Building with fundamentals creates a solid foundation for future.
0 - Get involved with peers of similar age and interest.
X - My playing and coaching experience spans 30 years, 14 countries, numerous championships and head coach of Nigeria in 2006 World Championship.
0 - The Youth are the future, it is my passion and purpose to teach basketball!
Pre-Game - $250
X - We encourage small group sessions of 4 - 5 players the groups must have 4 to 5 players to maximize drill participation and ensure great individual attention.
0 - Each session will be run with a total of ten teaching hours to be completed within a three week span.
X - Cost per player for a group is $25 per hour - The $250 total will be paid at session number one.
0 - Small groups are cost effective, challenging and rewarding.
Game Time - $300
One-On-One
X - Although small group sessions are recommended the academy offers individual sessions at a 5 hour minimum
0 - Onsite: I travel anywhere, will train at your local gyms or outdoor courts or one of our locations.
X - Time: I am flexible - 7 days a week.
0 - Cost for the first 5 one-hour sessions is $300 total
X - Each additional session after the first series has been completed is only $30 per hour.
Video Analysis
The Kevin Cook Basketball Academy will capture your shot and one on one moves on video and instantly be able to play it back for you!
As the saying goes "A picture is worth a 1,000 words"
- Instantly see your shooting form.
- Our instructors will be able to point out what is happening with your shooting mechanics both right and wrong...and what you will need to do to correct it to help you build new and correct habits.
- See yourself making strong one on one moves so that you can easily "visualize" after each session.
